HOW WE WORSHIP

Our worship comes from The Book of Common Prayer of The Episcopal Church. Our 10:30 a.m. Rite II service has two parts. The first part is the Liturgy of the Word, which includes prayers, readings from the Old and New Testament, the sermon, the Nicene Creed, confession and absolution, as well as the sharing of the Peace. After the weekly announcements and blessings, we move into the second part of the service, the Liturgy of the Table or The Holy Communion. Each week we share in the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, being strengthened for the journey and week that lies ahead. Our service always ends with a closing prayer and then a dismissal, where we are sent out into the world to love and serve the Lord.

Our services are family-friendly in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere. We believe that each person has been given gifts from God. The Body of Christ is not complete without each member. All are invited to bring their gifts to worship.
